Going over the thread below, I started to think about what exactly would constitute a negative IQ.

Well if you have a low IQ then you are considered to be rather dumb, and continue to get dumber the lower the IQ goes, so then if one's IQ hit negative numbers, the only way it could happen would be if hanging around this person actually caused that person's IQ to drop.

I've certainly seen people that have this ability, so a negative IQ is actually possible, or at least theoretically possible.

As for having a negative infinity IQ that would be a bit harder. The way I look at it, the only way one could have such an IQ would be if the mere act of talking to that person caused one's IQ to plummet to deadly levels. I do not know whether or not that is possible.

Just some thoughts on the matter. Take them for what they are.
