| Not that much. I added an object to the CG at the beginning of the NotS CDRom. Otherwise, the wireframe version I quicktimed looked pretty good. Hopefully it will look even better in 32bit with the extra thing I added. And, the audio part will help a lot; it's amusing as a silent film; the soundtrack should help a lot. So I'm now raytracing Frame622. For all it matters. I'm counting up from Frame479 right now, which is where the new object becomes important. Then I get to go back and do Frames one through 478, and 679 through 1050. Each frame takes six seconds to half an hour to render. Fun. Frame624.... BangBang came online last night, but hasn't done anything about yesterday's What's New. Hunter's theory is that he isn't reading anything that she or I post; mine is that he read it, and it shorted him out. I'm downloading my EMail now, just in case he was dumb enough to send anything else there. Of course, I get several hundred EMails per day, so it may be a while before I know for sure. Frame627.... Of course, the Sony's modem is out. Something which developed while it was off being fixed by UltimateExcuses, apparently. And the battery still doesn't work. And the DVRom screeches. And the screen is still blinking out. And I looked into it, and they had, according to their rules, up to three weeks to fix the thing; it took them three months to get it back to me, still broken. I think I'm going to stop in there after all, and mention that it's still broken, and that, as a novelist, I really need a working laptop; then I'll hand them a printout of the beginning of Damnitology which mentions what I think of SoundTrack these days...and which will be going to press in April or so. You really have to wonder what they spend on advertising, and how much good it does against one mass-produced negative review.... Frame631.... Oh well. That's it for now, I think. More Later... |
