I guess you could call this ‘preparing for winter’.

I know that the really nasty cold won’t be here until [probably] next year, and that really serious snowfalls tend to be random and far-between, but, well, meh. I don’t care. Let’s pretend this is all about winter.

I’ve started moving things around in the livingroom a bit, to see how much room I actually have, and how much room I can make. If I can make enough room, there are some interesting, almost ‘portable’ fireplace options I could get.

That’ll take some work, though. For now, I’m just trying to clear up as much floorspace as I can for the impending beanbaggery.

Yes, that’s right. I’m going to have beanbag chairs. Two of them, actually. The sort that’s shaped like the Video Rocker I already have, but slightly different. I tried a similar one out at Target, and it seems like it would be far more comfortable for gaming, in general.

I’ll probably have to get some more fill for them fairly soon after I get them, but that’s easy enough now that the internet exists.

I’ve also joined Gamefly. If you don’t know what that is, it’s like Netflix, but for games. So, now I can rent games for the GameCube, the GBA, the DS that I don’t have yet, the PS2, the PS3 that I’m not going to buy right away, the Wii that I’ll probably get as soon as possible, and the XBox line that I’ll just never bother with.

So, hey, maybe I’ll be writing a little more about games. Since, y’know, Netflix gave me so much material….

Go on, say something....
