A post about Twilight Princess

I see it’s already not available from anyone but those selling it for nearly $100. on Amazon.com. I’m so glad I preordered, or something….

I love the game. I love it so much, I’ve got my TV on the 4:3 setting, and I’m losing all that big-bigness that it normally has, just so I can see it all properly and not smeared.

The Twilight stuff is just great. The sort-of ‘theme’ playing whenever you’re in the twilight reminds me so much of Silent Hill, and you know that makes me all manner of content and one-with-the-furniture.

The first three levels seem to mirror [in a wacky, funhouse sort of way] the first three tasks from Ocarina of Time — Forest Temple, Gorons, and Lake Hylia. Except there’s sumo wrestling, and iron boots that stick to magnetic rocks. And the teeny-dodongos have turned into freakish fire-geckos.

I’m waiting for something that tops the shadow-beasts, though. You know, the ones with the shields for faces, and all those wavy tentacle bits.

I’m going to go back to playing, and hope that nobody lied about this being a huge game. I want to have some left for tomorrow, because I kindasorta just decided to put Amazon Prime to The Ultimate Test. 3.99 overnight shipping on the big official Gamecube version guide. They say it’s already processing for shipping, and that I’ll have it tomorrow.

I kinda doubt it, but it’ll be neat, because I know better than to actually think that ‘two day shipping’ or ‘express shipping’ has anything to do with ‘we’ll actually process it faster, just because’.

I want that collectors edition guide, too, but that’s backordered everywhere, and I can wait. I don’t have a Wii yet….

Go on, say something....
