I was supposed to post about getting presents yesterday. I was supposed to have cookies and chips and fudge yesterday, too.

Instead, I got nothing. I got even more than nothing — I got a tiny bit of hope that I hadn’t cleared out a path to the road for nothing, and an ‘Out for Delivery’ on the thing I ordered Overnight on the 19th.

That’s now got a delivery date of the 26th, and I’m betting that everything else won’t be here until nearly the end of the month now.

UPS really does intend to ruin my little part of the holiday season. I guess it’s just far more important that they get their employees’ packages moved around, so their employees’ families can have the holiday they’re expecting.

I was going to go out and shovel a little more tonight, but I don’t think I will now. It’s a little pointless to not be lazy when so many others are.
