I just gave in and updated to WordPress 2.1. What a mess….

It didn’t suddenly stop working or anything. I didn’t have to rebuild my entire site from leftover toothpicks and a piece of old gum, either. I just had to go in and fix about a thousand tiny things because some genious decided that I absolutely MUST combine my link categories and my regular categories.

No. If I’d wanted to do that, I’d have…woah, shit, autosave!

Oh yes. If I’d wanted my link categories to be my regular categories, I’d have done it a totally different way. As it was, I had to add about fifty things to my exclusion list. And I’m still not sure I got them all….

So, you might want to go over your theme very carefully before you upgrade.

Also, Inscript doesn’t work. Unless there’s a new version that does work. I don’t know.
