My TV broke on Saturday, which was really quite a shock. I thought that thing was going to outlive me, since it was a CRT.

So I got a new one on Sunday, and FedEx delivered it a day early. So now I’m watching Revenge of the Sith, and enjoying the pretty, pretty picture, while I wait for the rest of what I ordered to show up tomorrow, when everything else was supposed to show up. Cables, newer, spiffier surge protectors. Stuff to make sure that this TV lasts at least as long, because it wasn’t cheap [though it also wasn’t as expensive as the other one].
