Over the last couple of days, I actually started working on a few things. I got around to testing the phpBB3 beta [it’s spiffy], a chatroom script that could run on our server [it’s okay], and, well, that’s it, really. Because the rest of the nights have been spent watching movie after movie on our new DVD player.
That reminds me. I should Netflix Airplane.
We’ve got a big stack of stuff to watch, and we’ve only gone through a little of it. Escape from New York and LA, the first Indiana Jones movie, ID4, War of the Worlds. We even watched The Wall this morning. And, y’know, they really need to release another, slightly more remastered version of that, because it doesn’t sound nearly as good as it could.
I think we’re going to get around to things like Jurassic Park and Alien soon. It’s actually been really nice, sitting around watching movies like that.
Last night, instead of just settling in to watch some stuff, I decided I had a little more work left in me. So I sorted out the lists on my whiteboard, and added a few new things — like a few instructions on how to turn the crap I draw into images sized properly for a store. I’ve got one of those now — a store — and I can almost work on it myself. I know how to do really simple drawings for it, anyway; putting actual photos up is an entirely different thing. I’m not sure about how that’s going to work at all. We’re going to have to experiment with that a tiny bit, and see how things come out.
I also have to design my store, but that shouldn’t be too hard.
It’s really too bad I ate all my croutons yesterday. I could snack on them while I wake up and think about what I’m going to do today. Stupid, tasty croutons. Why must you be impossible to stop eating? Curse you!
