From the List of Movies I Never Want to See Again: The Net

I don’t actually have a list of movies I never want to see again, but, if I did? The Net would be on it.

We also watched Friday the 13th…six? I’m not entirely sure. One of those where the big scary monster comes back from the dead and kills a bunch of 80s stereotypes, so it could’ve been anything, really. The reason I mention it is that it was actually slightly more…believable and less silly than The Net.

Maybe I’m just seeing it too late. I don’t actually think that’s the case, but I’m willing to grant that it’s possible. Maybe I know a little too much, and I’m a little too e-jaded to buy all the shit they piled into it.

Probably not, though….

Duma Key

I’m the first to admit that I’m not very good at this sort of thing — whatever you want to call it. Reviewing a book. I’m not good at movies, either. I tend to over-explain one thing, but leave out something important until later. And I usually spoil the entire thing.

Which might be why I’ve put off that thing Gremlin asked me to do for his books. I’m not very good at it.
