I’m the first to admit that I’m not very good at this sort of thing — whatever you want to call it. Reviewing a book. I’m not good at movies, either. I tend to over-explain one thing, but leave out something important until later. And I usually spoil the entire thing.
Which might be why I’ve put off that thing Gremlin asked me to do for his books. I’m not very good at it.

Last year sometime, I picked up a few textbooks at The Ark [a thrift store] – pretty good ones, too. A biology textbook for non-science majors, a microbiology one, and I think there was one on chemistry.
