The last PETA type supporter I knew killed my V.niloticus. I'm guessing if he'd been smart enough, he would've said something along the lines of 'keeping pets is like keeping slaves, and exotics in captivity are suffering and they need to be put out of their misery'.

I hope you aren't quite that bad about it. If you are, you won't like the fact that I own a V.indicus currently.
