Some scientist, probably...

Gremlin seems to me that Utahraptor asked for some abuse after posting that nonsensical, yet supposedly logical, arguement that positively, somehow, didn't quite, disprove a damn thing.

Maybe. I never said his post made sense; in fact I replied with a few points he was off about. But I didn't realy mind that he posted it, since this is an open forum. I didn't actually mind that wyvern posted his response, for the same reason. I just didn't see much point to it, other than to accuse Utahraptor of being an idiot. And, um, he didn't exactly prove it =)

Oh yeah... what about your shared experience with Shadowcat? A certain repeated dream, to paraphrase you "that was more than a dream", that the both of you had..... Can you prove that it was more than just a dream or do you just believe it was?

Dreams are impossible to prove. Dreams are the general opposite of reality. Dreams are myths. They can be measured through REMs, but the exact content can't be determined beyond the actual dreamer's claim of what he experienced. That's the essence of a dream. Now, whether a dream is just a dream or is actually some harbinger of things to come is anyone's guess. There are precictions, and they sometimes turn out to be firghteningly accurate, but those can be attributed to the law of averages. Then there's oneironautics which are still open to debate. Again, it's impossible to determine beyond the shadow of a doubt whether two people had exactly the same dream--even between those two people, since there are so many variables. If two people dream of a chair one night, and awake to discover that both dreamt of the 'same thing', they won't necessarily consider what sort of chair it was; one could have been an ofice chair in a room with grey carpet, and the ther could have been an electric chair in a blizzard in Australia. Until all the data is compared, it's impossible to determine with any accuracy whether or not it was a true oneironautic event, or just a bit of a coincidence. Anyway, to anser the question directly, the evidence would suggest that it was merely a dream, since the event 'foretold' in the dream never happened on schedule, in 1994.

I am being a little bullheaded about this, but you always support logical, and extremely literal arguements. Seems Utahraptor is being over looked by your analysis of logical arguements.

Not really. A lot of what he had to say was incorrect or superfluous to the argument. And some of what he said made sense [once I'd decyphered his typos]. Which reminds me: everyone is capable of hitting the wrong key, or using the wrong homonym--especially on the 'net; in wyvern's case, I got the impression that most of his rebuttal had to do with Utahraptor's typing skills. The corrections were to prove a bit of a point. It got proved, I guess.
