Well, I would just to state my position on this issue. I am a cruel, black hearted individual. I place no real value on any form of life. I don't mind people breaking laws as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else, and they accept the consequences. Red seems to have really done some things that have affected other people in a negative way. I have no respect for that. I don't really see the dye issue as being such a bad thing to start with. I just think she handled the situation wrong, by taking off. In my opinion, I think she should have seen the cat taken care of, since she put the toxic stuff on it.

I don't really care what people do with their pets, as long as no one can hear them screaming. This does remind me of a portion of the movie "Silence of the Lambs". It brings about the whole issue of animal cruelty, in general. It seems that as long as no on hears it, it's ok for the lambs to scream. I think that is just the way society works. It might not be the best way, but I think that is the way it is. I have a hard time defining the point at which animals are given rights, perhaps I should look into it, more.
